Ajax striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is close to a deal with Real Madrid.
Huntelaar's Italian agent, Vincenzo Morabito, revealed last night: "He is very close to Real Madrid. There is an agreement in-place which has a great chance of being completed successfully."
Real coach Bernd Schuster has made no secret of his hopes of landing Huntelaar this summer.

Cristiano Ronaldo wants to quit Manchester United for Real Madrid's £150,000 a week after tax deal, it has been revealed.
The Guardian says the Portugal international has informed his agent, Jorge Mendes, that he wants to play in Spain and his decision has already been outlined to Madrid, encouraging them to step up their attempts to prise him from Old Trafford.

Yoann Gourcuff admits he wants to leave AC Milan on-loan next season.
"I believe that going out on loan would be the ideal solution for me, it would be the best thing for my career right now," the midfielder told Ouest France.
"Everything should be solved in the next few hours. The new season will be very important for me."

Federico Balzaretti says he's happy at Palermo after several years of changing clubs.

Sampdoria have completed the signing of AC Milan midfielder Paolo Sammarco.
Samp are coughing up £2 million for Sammarco, who is signing permanently with the Genoa club.
